Dimensional Tolerances
ISO 1101 and 6123/3 standard, dimensional tolerance for manufacturing
rollers, cylindrical parts, pulleys.
Silicone and rubber cylinder standards 6123/3–1985 (E)
All parts that leave our workshop, comply with the latest ISO standards and are regularly tested, in order to respect your specifications precisely and guarantee the quality of our products.
Classification of the ISO 6123/3-1985 standard (E) :
- XXP: Very high precision
- XP: High precision
- P: Precise
- H: High quality
- Q: Quality
- N: Non-critical
The roughness of the coating defines the specification.
Some classes cannot be applied for softer elastomers. If no tolerance has been specified on the schemes, class N will be used.
Here are the detail of our standards:
Cylinder Diameter Tolerance
Cylinders with a length/diameter ratio of less than 15 (the rigidity of the cylinder is considered sufficient)
* XXP- The tolerance for diameters greater than the nominal size of 630
need to be agreed between the parties.
need to be agreed between the parties.
Cylinders whose length to diameter ratio between 15 and 25 (the cylinder’s rigidity is considered sufficient)
* XXP- The tolerance for diameters greater than the nominal size of 630
need to be agreed between the parties.
